An Illustrated Guide to Organizing Your Photo Album

We are in an era where everything is electronics, amazing gadgets and very fast innovation of computer technology.

Printed photos have become obsolete. Photos are not printed on paper anymore, instead it's uploaded in the PC, social networking sites, flicker and the like. But there still exist printed photos, souvenirs of the 'baby boomers' like my mom and the 'Generation X' like me.

One can choose to scan it to upload in the PC or keep it neatly in an album. Keeping the sentimental value of the photos in a lovely designed album page by page is fun thing to do!

What you need..

• scissors plain and zigzag

• recycled glossy and colorful fashion magazines

• an empty magnetic photo album of your choice

• your old photos

• Gather all of the above mentioned materials.
• Sort your photos from oldest to latest.
• Starting with the first page of the album, begin placing the photos. Cut on edges using scissors in zigzag or straight form depending on what appeals to you. You also need to know what you want the picture to look and fit with the other when you put them on one page together. You can overlap one another without covering the subject.
• group pictures based on events, time, places and how you would want to arrange the memory of those photos.

• for photos on studio shoot, cutting on edges won't apply. Instead, decorate with glossy magazine cut into stripes, confetti or as as you please, the idea is endless when you let your creativity work.
